What is D’sign?

D’sign is a 6-week youth program that introduces children to the art of architecture. Through creative, hands-on activities, they learn how to imagine, design, and build their own spaces.

Developed in collaboration with Dr. Amr Abdel Kawi, AUC

Why Join?

Your child will:

How It Works

Module I: Design My Dream Room

Over the course of six weeks (meeting once a week), young creators will journey from imagination to creation. They begin by dreaming up and sketching their ideal room, then develop their ideas into storyboards and simple 3D models. As their designs take shape, they are introduced to the basics of architectural drawing, learning how to represent spaces through plans and sections. The program concludes with a gallery showcase where each young mind presents their work, an event that parents are invited to attend and that participants can also open to family and friends they wish to share their accomplishments with.

And if they love it, they can continue by signing up for Module II: My Dream House (coming soon).

In short: This program gives your child the chance to discover the art of architecture, to dream big, design with purpose, and bring their ideas to life.

Program Schedule

We ask that students arrive at least 15 minutes early to settle in and prepare.

Ages 6-8 

  • Tuesdays from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm 

 Ages 9-13

  • Mondays 5:00pm - 6:30pm

 Ages 14-18

  • Mondays from 7 pm – 8:30 pm 

The program concludes with a Gallery Showcase, where each young designer presents their work. Parents are warmly invited, and students can also bring family and friends to celebrate their creativity.

Includes all supplies. This program is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.
